The film is actually a remake of David’s 1999 hit Biwi No 1 which itself was a remake of the 1995 Tamil film Sathi Leelavathi. Interestingly this is the second time Varun Dhawan is doing a remake of a Salman starrer. Earlier he featured in Judwaa 2 under his father David Dhawan’s direction.
